CK Deep Drawing converts to 100% green electricity

CK Deep Drawing has done CO2 mapping in collaboration with Erhvervshus Midtjylland and the consulting company Viegand Maagøe and as a result, a number of green initiatives have been launched.
First of January 2025 CK Deep Drawing uses 100% green electricity. Heat pumps have been installed, which utilize the excess heat in production, and air-to-air heat pumps have been installed in the new warehouse.
Experiments are being carried out with frequency control of the motor on one of the production’s most energy-intensive machines. Throughout the experiment, it is tested whether the power consumption can be reduced during idling, which will result in a significant reduction in energy consumption
It is tested whether recycled aluminum together with low-carbon aluminum can be used in production. Good results are expected from these tests, and the new combination will be able to significantly reduce resource consumption on aluminum deliveries.
Sustainability data is monitored in Ecovadis and CDP and ensures a constant focus on energy optimization.
