CK DEEP DRAWING HAS SOUL

Søren Holmfeld started as a sweeper in CK Deep Drawing in 1989. After a number of years working in the production, he became responsible for the evening shift in 1999, and in 2005 he became production manager. He thrives on that. More than 30 years of employment is rare in business, but at CK Deep Drawing, many employees have been with the company for a long time.

“One of the things I really like about CK Deep Drawing is that the company has a soul. We are a family-owned business, and that gives in my opinion a different drive and soul, which I really like. And our cooperation is really good – we use each other’s top skills, and this provides an optimal basis for developing good solutions for customers,” says Søren.

and Søren continues:

“What motivates me a lot is working with development projects. Buying and installing new machines and optimizing processes in production, and I have good opportunities for that. CK Deep Drawing is the most automated company in Denmark within metalworking. Years ago there were many more employees, but the high degree of automation has meant that there are far fewer employees, and this has given us a head start on the market, which I am happy to be a part of.”

Jesper Drachmann, who is a designer and project manager, was first employed by CK Deep Drawing in 2001 and after a short exit with a subcontractor, he returned in 2010.

FREEDOM AND RESPONSIBILITY

Jesper Drachmann, who is a designer and project manager, was first employed by CK Deep Drawing in 2001 – 2007, and after a short exit with a subcontractor, he returned in 2010.

“We have freedom and responsibility. There is plenty of humor in everyday life and a good social tone. I like that. At the same time, CK Deep Drawing is probably one of the most high-tech production companies in the industry, and that is exciting. Everywhere is clean and tidy here and there are no manual lifts in production. We have the robots for that. At the same time, we are very good at collaborating on tasks. We spar a lot with each other, because it is a joint task to get production running. Everyone is equally important, and that gives a special spirit.”

and Jesper continues:

“At the same time, the work is really interesting. I am involved from the very beginning, where we discuss solutions with the customer. After that, we mature the subject and construction of the tools is initiated. Then we test the tool, and as soon as we have a finished and tested product, we drive out to the customer and hand it over in person. It is a great satisfaction to be involved in the entire process, which also includes the calculation of the products.”

CO-INFLUENCE AND A GOOD WORKING CLIMATE

Dennis Sørensen was employed as an industrial operator at CK Deep Drawing in 2014. He is happy with his work and values co-influence and being seen as a person.

“I work with many different things at CK Deep Drawing – both washing industrial mixing bowls, packing products, quality assurance and then I help my colleagues if there is a problem somewhere. I like that it is so varied. There is a good atmosphere between the office staff and the people in production. We work well together, and if you have problems with a machine or something else, it is quickly sorted out, so we don’t waste unnecessary time. I like that.”

and Dennis continues:

“I think the production at CK Deep Drawing is exciting because it is highly automated. It provides some other work tasks and less manual work. I enjoy that. Socially we are doing well. If someone has a birthday or anniversary, we all join in celebrating it. You are seen more in everyday life, and that is nice. I go to work being happy and return home being happy.”
