CK Deep Drawing doubles the capacity
CK Deep Drawing has invested in the 17th robot and is now doubling the capacity of the fully automatic roll cutting machine. The robot is an AP&T 4-axis Speedfeeder, which is produced in Sweden and which quickly and efficiently handles sheet blanks to and from the roll cutting machine.
The new robot runs unmanned and can deliver an extra shift, while freeing up the operator to operate 3 other robot lines. In addition, production is more agile, meaning the changeover time is much shorter. Previously, CK Deep Drawing took a day to convert, and now it’s a few hours.
The capacity is thus increased with the faster production time. At the same time, the investment supports CK Deep Drawings’ brand as Denmark’s most high-tech company in metalworking.
